The Blue Oyster Bar is a community centred kink/fetish event that brings together diverse individuals for a night of retro music and social mingling. This is to celebrate Sydney PRIDE 2023. The Blue Oyster Bar pays homage to an era where community, resilience and music brought us together, as a subculture.

We welcome all the kink/fetish communities and their friends. We promote trans inclusion and encourage diverse individuals with a curiosity about kink/fetish to attend.

Based on an imaginary leather bar popularised by the film Police Academy in the 1980s, it is a tongue-in-cheek, satirical and light-hearted take on a classic leather bar. We play music from the 1980s and disco era at our Retro leather night. It is fun, inclusive, and welcoming to all lovers of leather and the 80's music they played in their clubs and pubs back in the days!
